I am currently looking at buying property in Shreveport Louisiana. I have family there But have been doing research on that market, and they high crime rate, low employment rate, and a population decrease. Has anybody had decent success there? if so any advice?
@Charity Johns - Barksdale Air force base is near there, in Bossier. Military individuals get a housing stipend. Maybe you can find a house that would accommodate those folks.

Thank you that is a great strategy. I will look in to that. I wonder how I would structure the rental agreement in terms of them possibly being deployed at any point.
