Just curious, what tools are you guys use to find deals? Just relying on agents? Any softwares? I just started on the real estate investment, and I am using DealCheck for now, but wanted to learn if there are better ways to do it. Thank you!
Chris, great question—finding deals is half the battle. A lot of investors use a mix: MLS through an investor-friendly agent, off-market lists (PropStream, DealMachine, or even driving for dollars), wholesalers, and networking on forums like this. The key is layering multiple sources so you're not reliant on just one. Personally, I've seen some of the best deals come from local connections paired with consistent lead tracking tools. DealCheck is great for underwriting, so you're already on the right track there.

Aloha Chris! I've used lots of Lead Generation Tools like Propstream, PropertyRadar, Rebogateway, etc. I looked at Deal Check and I don't see any presets for off market properties. I've been using Invelo lately and its pretty slick. Try the base version which is nearly free... Take it for a test drive. Create lists in your area and use the presets like Preforeclosure, Tired landlords, Vacant Properties, etc. to find off market properties. Here the link: https://inveloapp.com/bigger-pockets. There are quite a few people on BP using Invelo, I am sure you'll get lots of support from the community or Invelo tech support.
