My wife and I have 4 Airbnbs we manage and 3 that we manage for a friends. We have been asked to manage 3 more. In Washington you have to become a real estate agent to do property management. My wife has passed the state test and now we are looking for a place to put licenses to become fully legal. Is there any suggestions for findings a managing broker that would be a good fit. We will be looking to add on properties in Bremerton, Tacoma, and Olympia doing mid term/ short term. I am a general contractor but run that through my general contracting company. This property management company will only be tenant placement and cleaning between guest in short/mid term.
I believe you need 3 years of experience in WA as a broker's associate. She may want to consider getting her managing broker's license after this. You should search for local brokers who are managing STRs and reach out to them. They will take a fee or percentage, but it will be worth it for the education over those 3 years.
@Andrew Jackson Send me a DM. Not quite clear on your needs or expectations but I'm happy to chat and offer any guidance needed. I'm the Designated Broker for my own firm and used to own a property management business.

@Andrew Jackson I just shot you a message, it would be worth chatting. I'm a Managing Broker w/ a team at Compass ; we specialize in selling STR properties but don't currently have a property management solution, so I could see some ways where we might be able to work together on that. Cheers!
