How to connect with Wholesalers in Savannah

Question

I am looking at Savannah market and interested in connecting with any wholesalers in the area. I have 2 rentals that I purchased through agents on MLS in other markets and am interested in exploring the wholesale opportunities. I have begun to work with an agent also.

I imagine you'll have people reaching out to you because of this post. There's also typically several "wholesalers" at every real estate investing meetup I've gone to. You can also be your own wholesaler by letting your network know you buy houses and by driving for dollars.

I'd recommend tempering your expectations with wholesalers though. I've meet many in their early to mid 20's who get my buy box info only to never hear from them again. Wholesaling is what a lot of folks try to start doing since they need to build capital. I imagine less than 1% stick with it and ever actually do a wholesale deal.

Wholesaling also has a little bit of stink on it, at least to me, because you're essentially getting someone to sell you their house for less than they could sell it for on the open market so you can make a profit.
