Jason Schimer I don't know if this was a huge mistake, but I did stub my toe going through the same company (for insurance) that was the cheapest for my primary residence for the investment properties. I naively thought since they were the best price/coverage balance for home/auto that investment properties would be the same. For whatever reason, maybe location, a local insurance broker was able to get me the same coverage through a different vendor much cheaper.
