I have a client that is looking for recommendations for who to work with for title and escrow services in the San Francisco Bay area for flips. He would be buying and holding 3 days or so. Can anyone recommend an investor-friendly escrow / title company? Thanks.
I am not current but I found out those with a large 1031 exchange division were more investor oriented than others.
But often times I used escrow companies that were not attached to a title insurance company because the were more flexible with dealing with not run of the mill deals and they obtained title insurance for the property through Chicago Title or Stewart Title in those days.
I liked American for the run of the mill stuff because of the two escrow officers I liked using were there, it is a people business too and the individual escrow officer when you find a great one narrows my choices..
