Depends on your strategy. Personally, I prefer to own rental property to flipping houses. With that iin mind, I'd use it to scoop up some rentals or a decent commercial property.
You need to develop your own business plan - your own strategy. Once you've done that it will make it much easier to figure out what to do with your theoretical or real windfall.
My plan is this, since i live in miami id like to own about 10 beach appartments to rent for 3 reasons, theres no pool, no yard and no hurricane clean ups. Should i go ahead and get 10, 300k appartments or maybe fewer, more expensive ones? Another question i have is does it make a difference if i rent them with or without furniture?
