Little Help.... Just need some ideas to add to my plan

Here is my 6 year plan: ill spare you all the in-depth speech and please add too or poke holes:

While I am in Germany (3 years):

Build capital while educating myself and doing small investments in the stock market and paying off debt.

Now once i return to the states this is my final 3 years prior to retirement from the Army (this is where you all come in to be critical) I want to use a VA home loan to buy the primary home and the capital i put to the side during my Germany tour to buy a second property while fulfilling the VA one year residency requirment. Once i fulfill the year occupancy for the VA home loan i want to move to another property that i have been researching and do the same thing each year totaling four properties by the time i retire. I plan on using a bit of money from the TSP to get started but that will only be used for a reserve fund in case something needs to be fixed. Anyway im still polishing the fine points but i wanted to give you all the broad strokes. Little help BP Family?

    Anthony:

    Thank you for your service.

I applaud every step that has you buying assets that can become cash-flowing investments.    I'm not so keen on your stock market comments.  Particularly with a 3-year window, that is just gambling.   You might as well go to a casino with that money.

Regarding loans and funding.   Pay off high-interest consumer debt first.  I'd go slow on student loans or anything with a lower interest rate.  Cash is king. Cash can buy you income-producing assets.  Less debt cannot.

    Good luck

@Greg Scott thanks for the comments, i forgot to add that i will be leaving the money in the stock market those are long term plays im not planning on taking that money out until retirement. What i meant was that im building my stock portfolio as well as paying off the high consumer debit. Hope that makes it a little clearer. Once again thanks.
