Anyone investing in Maple Heights or Euclid, Ohio?

Just wondering if anyone has had success investing in the maple heights or Euclid areas of Ohio? I can’t find anything good online about these areas. Lots of horror stories regarding the area (crime, housing, declining etc.).

I manage properties for investors in both Maple Hts and Euclid.   If the property owner allows me to maintain the property well I have no problem with finding good long term tenants.    I personally own a property in Euclid.    It is located between Lakeshore Blvd and Lake Erie and the home is deeded with access to a private beach on Lake Erie at an affordable 200.00 annually.    Best kept secret in Cleveland area.

How long has your company been working in Maple Heights?

Hi Melissa: We have been buying, rehabbing, selling turnkey rental houses in Maple Heights OH & Euclid OH for about 4 years.  We have done 80-100 projects there as part of our business in greater Cleveland area. You must have seen good appreciation on your properties?

@Melissa Perez Just curious,  how long was the property on the market?

@Tanvir Sattar I really don't remember. It was under contract and then put back on the market.

@Melissa Perez Got it. It seems like the market is cooling off a bit compared to the summer.

@Tanvir Sattar Yes, I agree. But I also think some folks maybe don't want to deal with POS violations/inspections as this particular property had some that needed to be addressed prior to purchase.

YES! You need someone who is familiar with the areas but even more so familiar with the POS inspections and how to get them completed quickly and easily. I bought a hone for $45k and could have put $15k in and got a 1300/mo rent but instead out $45k in, lived there for 2 years and refinanced at $150k. I just sold a home 1 street over for $305k. I also have an apartment going live in Maple heights this week. I find both to be incredibly strong rental markets- you just need someone experienced to assist with the POS portion. Im happy to assist you if youre ever looking to invest in Northeast Oh.

Is Euclid still a good option to buy multi family home?
