Anyone worked with this company before? "Private Lender Frank"

The website privatelenderfrank.com is very new (created on 2018/08/06; exactly three months ago).

Portfolio Lender Frank has a Twitter account at "POTfoliolending": https://twitter.com/potfoliolending

Portfolio Lender Frank also has a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/privatelenderfrank/pos...

On Twitter he has a phone number with a 661 area code (Los Angeles County).
On FB he has a phone number with a 669 area code (San Jose).

A Google reverse image search of the image of "Frank Portillo" from those profiles and from the "terms" page of privatelenderfrank.com shows that the same image is used on the following online profiles (which appear to belong to a real person involved in higher education in Canada):

I would avoid doing business with Private Lender Frank.

Interestingly, I found three BiggerPockets users named Frank Portillo, two from northern California and one from Arizona.  It's likely that they have nothing to do with the person behind portfoliolenderfrank.com.

    Nicole this I will bet the farm on is a FAUX lender.. that verbiage is straight out of FAUX lenders handbook.

    Website is skinny.. its just FAUX  or FAKE news as Mr. Trump like to say..  Careful give no money up front.

    Here are some real lenders if you want to check

    first off

    @Darrin Carey  is a real lender in Dayton  

    then you have  

    Lending home

    lending one

    Lima one

    Patch of land

    and I am sure many other OH based for real lenders..

    @Jay Hinrichs Thanks very much for looking into it for me. His "About" section was suspicious, too. 10 years in RE but no specifics regarding a company or position? I've looked into every lender you mentioned. They all had minimums that were way too high for my area.

    Other than the sort of hokey website, and fantasy terms.....if you google search the photo  (looks like a stock photo copied from some site, like the rest of the photos on the site) of “Frank Portillo”, you will find that exact photo that is supposedly Keith Alnwick, the principle of Alnwick Consultng, a defunct company.

    Need we say more?

    @Nicole Heasley. All good comments above, albeit a fair amount of work. When I get a message from a “lender” I just tell them I have a 900 credit score, they always tell me what a great score that is. I immediately know it’s fake. I got one of these the other day. I told him he should lend me 1 billion dollars at a negative 2 percent interest rate (he pays me) for me to spend his money on partying. He didn’t seem to like that to much lol

    This guy is a total scam. He just took $4,500 upfront from a first time real estate investor. Documented! He takes upfront fees and never performs on the loans. This is an upfront fee scam at its finest people, RUN!! He's a liar and a thief. Don't go there.

    The IP address is actually from Nigeria. I trusted everything he said to me and I am out a lot of money. Sent mail orders to Florida. Please do not fall for this
