Does anyone know of any portfolio lenders in Cleveland Ohio who lend on residential multi family, and base their loan on the Asset and investors credit.... rather than the investors income? Thanks ~Hassan

Talk with Dollar Bank. Let me know if you need the contact info for their investor specialist.

I don't think your going to find what you're looking for.

Asset based loans are for commercial properties.

Hard money lenders are more incline to look at the asset the way you described.

    Hassan,

Greater Cleveland REIA is Tuesday night, 2/9 I am actually the speaker there discussing legal wholesaling in Ohio. The beauty of wholesaling in Ohio is that you really need to close and resell again, so we will have a TON of transnational lenders and private money lenders that lend on the property and not the buyers credit.

    Hope to see ya there.

P.S. Dont take this as a pitch to go to the REIA goup, The bottom line is even if you cant make it, there are TONS of lenders that will lend if the deal is good enough. Just imagine if you were to lend on a Lamborghini for 20k..... would you care if the borrower never paid you back? Probably not, the point is, almost anyone will lend on something they can make coin on even if you fall off. This is what eliminates credit checks.
