I wouldn't use a family attorney to help me with my criminal issues, but when it comes to real estate it is a business, but also very specific problems you may run into with evictions and contracts. Do you have one attorney or several and if several what are their specialties?
Personally I focus on real estate attorneys who practice a subset of law that is tangential to the real estate focus. For instance, real estate and business law have a decent amount of overlap, while family practice, intellectual property rights, or other similar sects of law do not.
A small one-stop shop generally will not serve all your needs as you continue to grow in business and a great attorney is aware of that and will align themselves with service provides that are supplementary to their own.
