@Moderators How do we "Unfollow" or "Unsubscibe" so we don't get multiple alerts for the daily spam post listing every city in Ohio? Do we have to simply turn off our notifications by town so we are unplugged from BP?
It's getting to that point for me.
Change your keyword alerts. You have them turned on for Classified section. Turn that option off.

Anyone who is interested...it's a setting called Mute User under your notifications.
@James Wise Nothing personal I'm sure your drip campaign of multiple posts a day drives newbies to you in droves but those of us who prefer more personalized dialogue it's just daily spam from a site we enjoy being part of.

Hi Andrew,
I am very sorry to see that you are being over notified. What is the title of the email notification you are receiving too often? I would be happy to assist on what notification setting to alter for the email frequency.
I see you have found the way to unfollow on this post, but I'd like to make it as clear as possible for any other users that may be experiencing the same frustration.
Hi Noah, I am singularly focused on Toledo, Ohio so that's the key word that keeps getting hits.
The only repeat notification I was receiving was James Wise. He has an accomplished posting machine created so it may be of use to newbies but isn't of interest for those of us already successful and expert in our chosen area of business.
I think I have him successfully muted, mission accomplished!
I'm not sure how BP would like to help users limit their notification traffic, perhaps a foot note on the notification email to the extent of "Gettings too many of these? You can customize your settings and mute specific users, click here to learn more" may be of value to BP membership.

Click on the 3 dots on the right of the notification, you can choose to Mute User there.

I completely understand now, thank you for clearing that up!
From your Keyword Alerts Notification Page, you were able to mute a user that is using a Keyword you wish to be notified on too often. (Showing a screenshot of my KW alert page for reference)
You are able to alter the frequency of the Keyword Alert notification in your settings to be delivered instantly, daily, or weekly. But, I do see your concern that you wish to receive the notification just not from a specific individual posting more often.
I really appreciate the suggestion on limiting notification traffic and will work on a suggested outcome with our team.

Check your keyword alerts. You may want to change which keywords you get a notification for. Just having say "Ohio" is going to get you a lot of junk.
