Hey everyone,

I would appreciate any recommendations for CPA's in the Tampa/St. Pete area. There are so many of them when I look online and it gets to be a little overwhelming which is why I came here where there are so many of you with great advise or experiences.

Thank you for referrals and I hope to see everyone at BPCON 2023

@Matthew Martin Hey Matthew, I'm right there with you. I'm on my 3rd CPA in 4 years. The first I was with for a long time. He was a nice guy, but a lot of stuff started to fall through the cracks as he grew and added staff. The second was just plain terrible and I started to get IRS letters about filing mistakes...some were right, some wrong...but I couldn't have that. The one we went to now seems to be a machine. When I asked for help about one of the previous IRS letters I got the "that's not my job" thing. They also sent me an on-line tax questionnaire for 2022 that was so granular that I might as well do it myself (my undergrad was accounting). It looked like my input might simply transfer into their tax software. I would love to find someone I can actually have coffee with that is an advisor...not a mill. If you find one, please let me know. Good luck to you!
