New real estate inventor in Toledo OH - Advice welcomed!

Hello! My name is Lindsey and I am brand new to the BiggerPockets community.  I am currently living in Denver, but my husband and I are putting together our plan to move back to our hometown in Toledo, Ohio and become real estate investors next spring.

If there is anyone in the Toledo area flipping homes and buying and holding properties, any tips and tricks would be amazing!

I am currently looking to connect with a realtor in the area and also connect with a project manager.  If anyone has any leads, I would be very grateful.

Looking forward to connecting with the community!

@Lindsey Mahoney- Engelo is spot on, your team will facilitate your success, same with your friends.

You will find like I did that over time you will surround yourself with successful people who understand what you are doing and where you are going instead of your work or old high school friends.

Over eight years I built a buy-and-hold portfolio and quit my day job, most of the friends I started with I have long since stopped talking real estate and rental properties with. They are programmed into the Matrix and will never put the off-hours efforts forward to invest, manage, and expand.

Definitely join a local investment club, Toledo REIA is around but I am not involved with them. PIN (Property Investors Network) was started this January and is ~100 landlords, investors, flippers, property managers, etc who get together monthly to openly compare notes and methods to make all of us better, more successful investors.
