Indoor Paint Color for all rentals

Ok, I’m on my phone and just too lazy to search all the past forums.

I want an indoor paint color that I can put in every room, in every rental that I own. You know the routine. Easy to touch up without needing to match color. Buy in 5 gallon buckets and have it laying around. Easy to repaint entire units after a few years.

Doesn’t have to be a long answer, but what do you use for multiple units and properties?

Light gray with white trim and white ceilings. Makes the trim pop, isn't just boring white and isn't a love-hate sort of color scheme.

Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray is one of their top colors. Not to dark and contrasts well with white trim or other darker accent colors on the same color swatch.
I have been using Pro 400 Egshel
For easy wipe off during tenancy and I don’t always have to repaint between turnovers

I use Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray (SW7029) and Extra White (SW7006). You cannot go wrong with these!

@Sam Shueh I agree with Sam. Semi-gloss is probably your best option as far as sheen. It’s very durable and washable. It’s a few more bucks a gallon but will save you a ton in the long run.

Who cares if Grey is a trend? Let's say it's in trend now and goes out of style 2 years. If your tenant moves, chances are you'll still need to give it a fresh coat of paint all over again to have the rental ready for your new tenant. If it's out of trend then, you can always change the color. Bottom line is tenants love greys, they're modern and are appealing and attract higher quality tenants as well.

Interactive Cream for all my rentals. It’s from sherwin Williams and the grade is Promar 200, sorta like apartment grade. Cost effective and works well with high gloss white trims, doors, window sills. Gives you nice pop and makes room brighter and bigger. Ceiling are flat white. I was using Flat SW6113 and it was easy to retouch but then started trying out egg shell Type to see if I can wipe it.

@Brad Ger I always leave partial leftovers of gallon paint in the unit for tenants to do touch up. Always kept in the laundry room.

Light beige (satin for main walls, semi-glossy for bathrooms) from Sherwin Williams. If you have a company, ask them to speak to a rep in order to setup an account. Buy a 5 gallon bucket, one at a time and get the best pricing. Easy peasy.
Light gray has become popular. I might look into moving all of them to that color eventually and if I was starting this process, I would use a light gray as well.

It’s a subtle gray goes great with high gloss white trim
Recently I started using titanium by Behr and loft space by behr.

Swiss coffee. I am not a fan of gray, especially if there is brown wood, like floors or cabinets, or paneling. Gray and brown do not go well together, imho.
Now if you are talking Touch of Grey, that's a good Grateful Dead song. LOL.

I suppose as long as it’s a light color so you can touch it up without potentially needing to repaint the whole room or wall since the light color should blend together.

I prefer light grey which looks modern and simple. And grey is better than white because it is easier to protect the wall color. But don’t choose dark colors which makes the whole space look depressing.
