I can't find Charisma Comforters at Costco!!! Oh Noes!!

I know! You might be having a cow because what I believe to be the best summer weight comforter is no longer at Costco! Mike! You have recommended that comforter in nearly every post you have made in the last 4 years about bedding!

Fear not! It appears that Costco is rebranding them thar comforters to Berkshire. They are essentially the same comforter. Size is excellent and the quality appears to be the same. So go forth and equip your vacation rental with an excellent comforter! I am still using ones we bought 5 years ago.

    @Michael Baum The PSA we all didn't know we needed. 

    Curious why you do comforters and not duvets?

    There is a couple of reasons @Katie Miller. Duvet covers just take too much time to change out. I tried them at first. All white and they looked nice but took too much time to swap on back to backs.

    The other thing is the comforter that goes inside. Frankly unless you spend a ton of $$$, they are just not that good. They bunch up, they are made as small as they can for the size of the bed and they just don't hang well on the bed.

    I get these for about 16 bucks for queens and 19 bucks for kings when they are on sale. They hang great and are much larger so they look good. They wash up perfectly. Super easy to take care of. They don't wrinkle, bunch up or even fade really. We are using the first ones I ever bought 5 years ago and they still look great.

    We have about 6 or 7 per bed. That way I can toss them in hampers I have in the garage and wash them on non-back to back days to get them back in the rotation. One good duvet costs over $100 or even more and they still kinda suck IMHO. We are primarily a summer rental so the Charisma/Berkshire comforters are perfect as they are light but still kinda warming if it gets chilly.
