Confirmation that guest like very cool temperatures in vacation rentals

If you have Wi-Fi enables thermostats, you can see the temperatures that guests are using and like.

I love my Honeywell 9000 series color Wi-Fi thermostats due to all the custom setting and alerts I can get from them. I have these in multiple properties.

So, I have noticed that people crank down the temp to the minimum setting of 68 ALL the time. 

Right now, our upstairs thermostat in our Pigeon Forge Cabin has the AC down to the AC lower stop of 68 and the heat on 43 trying to get it even cooler than 68 even though it is in the 40's outside right now.

I too like it cool when I'm sleeping.

Occasionally I will see someone set the temp to the low 70"s, but it is rare.

Do you lockout your thermostat range to keep people from abusing your HVAC units?

I set parameters of a low of 67 in the summer, and a high of 75 in the winter.  I had an expensive service call this past summer when guests had the heat pump set to 64 on a very hot (upper 90's), humid day and the unit froze up and quit working.  My heat pumps are 3 years old, put in new when I bought the place.  I suspect the guests had the patio door or windows open when this happened (it's at the beach, so humid), and I'm not allowing that low of a setting any more.
