Short term rental listing traction

Raghav Kapur
Posted

Hey all, I’ve had some trouble with getting views on my Airbnb listing; the view count has dipped pretty steeply starting this year. What strategies have you found successful when promoting your short term rental to the top of the Airbnb lists? I’d love to implement some tried and tested tactics. Thank you in advance!

Have you tried looking for your listing in private or incognito mode, as the public sees it?  Make sure it's showing up.  Sometimes there's something wrong within the platform and it's hidden, or hard to find.  Both Airbnb and Vrbo will place you higher in the listings with professional or at least very good amateur photos for your listing.  Vrbo wants you to revise your listing often, changing words and/or photos, adding photos.  Both also want you to go through the editing section of your property and see if there are any amenities that you have that are not checked (sometimes the platforms add some new check boxes). And how are your ratings?
