Greetings to all,
My name is Wesley Toma-Lee, and I and am from the Merrimack Valley area in Massachusetts. I am brand new to real estate. I'm looking to start my career off as a wholesaler. Ultimately, I would love to get a rental portfolio going, and let that make me money. I also know there are sides of real estate that I have no idea about, so the skies the limit to were I want to go. In doing searches online for various sites and information, I stumbled upon this site, and I think it is a great resource so far.
So there is my introduction. I look forward to all the amazing interactions this site has to offer.

Hey Wesley. Good to see another local here on BP. Stay active on the forums, listen to the podcasts and take a look at the blogs. Tons of great info on here. Also, I'd recommend attending the local AREIA's. I go to the one in Chelmsford.
If you start with wholesaling, I'm a cash buyer so you can add me to your buyers list.

@Mike Hurney Thanks, I hope by interesting, you don't mean bad. I was on your site, and I added your next REIA meeting to my calendar. I look forward to going and meeting some cool people to network with.
@Justin Silverio Thanks for the advice. I have to say, there is so much information on this site, it is a bit overwhelming, but I just got to take it one step at a time and work through the info. I would love to add you to my buyers list. If it's ok with you, I'm going to message you a couple of questions in regards to what and where you buy.
is also right that you should get out to the REIAs and other good REI educational and networking events. There are tons of them in Eastern MA and NH. The NEREIA in Chelmsford is a no brainer for you.
I'm also a buyer in the area so I'd like to get on your buyers list as well.

@Ann Bellamy I am going to look into setting up my keywords. I definitly don't want to miss anything. I'm looking forward to going to your Waltham meeting next week and meeting you and everyone else.
@Shaun Reilly Thank you for letting me add you to my list. I have looked into all those REIA meeting. I've added a few of them to my calendar and do intend to go to as many as I can. I want to do as much networking as possible. I hope to see you at one. I like to meet and get to know all my buyers.
Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. You will meet other wholesalers and cash buyers.
Consider checking out HUD homes for small multi's owner occupied gets first crack.
You might look at Niche student housing with the University there. Rents can be 2-4 times more. Remember you don't have to own it to control it.
