Hello everyone! I'm new to real estate investing. I know the basics and would like to get started on wholesaling to start at least getting some cash in. I am looking for a mentor to kind of give me the knowledge I need that will give me the confidence to speak with home owners. Any advice or help will be appreciated.

Welcome to BiggerPockets and real estate investing in general @Andrea Gayle! Ramon provided a great link that sheds light on the real deal when it comes to wholesaling.
Be mindful that making things happen will require a lot of self education AND stepping outside your comfort zone. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to just have someone guide you through the whole process. The confidence will come when you have a better understanding and have dealt with some rejection.
The great thing is that you have these wonderful forums to ask questions, bounce ideas off of other investors, and share your stories! Hope to see you more around the site!

They have a real estate expo on November 6th, held at IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame located at 300 Gulf Stream Way, Dania Beach, FL 33004.
