My name is Joao Hortencio and I am an U.S. Army Soldier currently stationed in JBLM. I am excited more about real estate investing wherever the Army has me stationed at and how to use my VA loan to buy a great investment(s).
I plan on staying Active Duty and do real estate at the same time. I learned about the Bigger Pockets community from a fellow soldier that has a few properties while serving full time in the military.
It seems hard but if other people successfully did/do it, with the right knowledge/tools I can make it happen too
You have a major advantage because like you said, you are able to utilize your VA eligibility to get your foot in the door. Have you decided which types of investment property you will be going for? Single Family, Multi Family/house hack?

I have a beautiful brand new duplex perfect for a VA owner occupy off the I5 corridor. It's not near JBLM but it's not too far. It would be perfect for a VA purchase. Let me know if your interested.
