Hi everyone! I’m excited to join the BiggerPockets community and connect with fellow investors.

I’m a new investor who purchased my first rental property this past year, and I’m eager to learn and grow my portfolio. I’m also an active member of the local landlord association in Joliet (JRLA), which has been a great resource for networking and education. Looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing this journey together!

Welcome Hunter, this is a good place to meet others with similar goals. Ask questions to the forum when anything comes up. Glad you took the leap and got your first rental. Is it in Joliet also? Hope to see you at one of the meet ups in the area.

Love it! Did you go the DSCR route for the refi or did you wait 12 months to do conventional?

Joliet market - yes. I prefer buy and hold. I currently have 1 two-unit in Joliet.
