Rookie Investor in Louisville!!
Hi everyone! My name is Christian, and I’m a proud Louisvillian and homeowner in the Saint Joseph neighborhood. I currently work full-time as a firefighter/paramedic here in Louisville, and I’m excited to be taking the first steps into the world of real estate investing.
Right now, I’m exploring the idea of purchasing a new primary residence and turning my current home into a rental. I'm also looking into ways I might use the equity in my home to help fund future investment opportunities—possibly even my first multifamily or short-term rental.
I’d love to connect with others who have similar backgrounds or who started by house hacking or converting a primary home into a rental. I’m here to learn, grow, and build a network of like-minded investors.
Looking forward to the conversations ahead—feel free to say hi or share any tips!

Look into getting a HELOC on your personal home before moving on to your next. Central Bank is where I got my HELOC. I've been telling everyone I know to go invest in Shelby County.
