BP Introduction - New Multi-Family Construction

Greetings all,

I am new to BP and new myself to real estate investing (spent my former years in the trades and my family had a commercial property). I currently live in Colorado and am a software engineer, but am from southern Iowa & northern Minnesota. I currently own ~8 acres in a small city South West of Des Moines zoned as medium density. I am currently working with the city to start construction on phase 1 for an 8-plex in the Spring of 2026. Looking forward to future discussions with the members here!
