Anyone Investing or Building in SW Florida?

Question

My name is Eber Gongora, and I’m based in Southwest Florida. I’m the owner of Palm Roofing & Construction, where we work on commercial and residential projects, including roofing, new construction, and remodels.

I work closely with property owners and investors on everything from ground-up builds and renovations to capital improvements and roof replacements, helping ensure projects are planned correctly, executed efficiently, and built with long-term value in mind. A big part of my role is helping owners think through scope, timing, and CapEx early so projects stay on track and surprises are minimized.

I joined BiggerPockets to learn more about real estate investing, deal analysis, and how experienced investors scale their portfolios. At the same time, I’m happy to contribute where I can. Whether that’s sharing real-world construction insights, answering questions, or being a resource to the community.

Good to meet you and welcome to the BP community.

I've been working in the Build to Rent space in SW Florida for a little over 2 years now.  Although things slowed this year and areas now are going through a bit of a correction, I still believe that SW Florida is a strong market for REI.

I am currently working with builders to offer their new inventory to investors.  wWe work with the builders to offer great incentives that let the investor see cash flow on a New Construction Investment.
