New Member Intro - Experience with Federal Pacific?

Hi all,

Just getting into this game. Looking to move on an old duplex, but the electrical is Federal Pacific. Realtor said absolutely should be replaced. I’m gathering quotes and estimating a 6K cost to replace the panels but the deal pencils nicely even with below market rents. 

Curious if this community has had experience with Federal Pacific electrical and how big of a red/yellow flag is it actually? Where are my blindspots here?
