A wise man said, your network is your net worth, networking is not only knowing people names or being limited to know what they do. Networking is knowing what ventures each one is involved in, understanding possible ways you can collaborate, benefit or learn and earn from what each and everyone is specialised into.
Believe me if you're not learning or earning anything within your circle, then you're trapped in a cage.
If you can approach networking as the more people you connect with, is the most you learn and earn, then your set for greater success.
Networking changed for me when I learned this.....
Networking is not about who you know or who knows you! Networking is about who knows you and who will call you in their time of need........because youve created soooooo much value in the time that youve known them.
@Simon Diyo names are just the start. To me, real networking is being useful. Connect people who should know each other, share what you've learned, and keep showing up. Becoming the person in the middle of those connections did more for my business than anything I could have pitched. Starting or helping run a local meetup is one of the fastest ways to get there. Keep in touch.
