My name is Josh, I currently work in a petrochemical refinery, but I'm excited to be delving into real estate in my 'free-time'!!
I've yet to actually start investing, but I've been scouring the podcast for a couple of weeks now... I have my real estate license, and I'm standing on the edge, just need the right property to make me jump.
Looking to Buy and Hold and possibly manage enough properties to "retire" early from my day job.

No need to wait if you are buying to hold. Look at duplex, triplex and quadroplexes to start. If the seller really wants to get out from under the property, you can often get it for less than $5k. This is being generous. As you may recall, 2008 had owners looking at the news, looking at their statements, and just packing up and leaving because they are upside down on their mortgage. No confirmation, no eviction, they just left. Vacant house anyone? (this should get the discussion stirred)
Maintaining balance is maybe the most difficult of life lessons I am learning. With respect to that, I am attempting to balance the JUMP IN NOW urge with the 'analysis paralysis' BTurner and JDorkin refer to in the BP podcasts.
T-minus three months... goal/deadline for going under contract on an investment property.
