Hi All, I am an active real estate investor moving to Boston next month. I'd love to connect and network with any local investors in the area. I currently own multi-family in the Western MA area and am looking to expand my investing into larger apartment buildings. Are there any regular meet-ups in the area? Looking forward to meeting some folks out there in the coming months.

Hi Roig, welcome to BP.
This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.
This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.
Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have. You mentioned you have property in Western Mass, is that were you are moving or are you actually moving to Boston, or neither but are going to be within 50 miles of Boston so everyone says that they are from Boston to anyone outside of New England to make life easier. :)
If you are going to be out int he Western part of the state there is a new Western Mass REI group started by some guys on here that seems to be doing really well. I am not out that way but see the posts here on BP and their FB group:
Even if you don't get to the meeting you should definitely get connected with them if you have property out there.
If you are more central then you can check out the Black Diamond meeting in Worcester and since you are into buy and hold look at the NWCLA in Fitchburg.
If you are really in the Greater Boston area there are probably around a dozen meetings from the Cape all the way up to Manchester NH.

If you will be right in Boston then you should check out the original Black Diamond location in Waltham, great meeting and my current favorite. There is also the Boston Area REIA in Medford which is close (though with Boston traffic still might take a while:) ).
Lots of stuff relatively close north and south of the city, I tend towards north and like the NEREIA meeting in Chelsmford and the NH real estate mastermind in Nashua, NH as well as The Boston Investor's quarterly meetup in Reading.
