New investor in Hoboken / NJ

Hi all!

I'm planning to buy my first property soon, likely in Hoboken or Jersey City.  I'm a consultant so I travel a ton: I'm looking for a location that lets me commute to Manhattan when I'm in town, and AirBNB it out when I'm not.  If this goes well, I have the energy (and capital / credit) to do some more purely investment properties.

Would love to meet others with similar interests--also looking for recommendations on a good buyer's agent.
