Hi all,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Pete and I'm a Realtor as well as a licensed Property Manager in Sioux Falls, SD. I've been in the business for a few years and enjoy helping first time homebuyers to savvy investors and everyone in between.
I joined this forum primarily to network with the investors in my area, share some knowledge, and learn from other professionals.
My area had a REIC in the past but it disbanded a number of years ago. I was hoping to find other individuals in my area interested in investing/networking/learning from each other.

I am from the Sioux Falls area also and am currently trying to get into the real estate game! I am hoping to do some flips and possibly have some rental properties. I am very interested in networking and meeting other investors to bounce ideas around with.
It feels good to hear people from my area, don't hear it very much. Don't know if that's a good thing or not :). Would like to meet people in the Sioux Falls area Maybe we could start something even if its a coffee deal. I just want to set down and talk about real estate. When I try to talk to my wife she just looks at me and says that's nice LOL. Any thoughts?

I am interested in meeting as well. There use to be a group that met at Keller Williams Realty once a month, but it was put on hold for the summer months due to minimal attendance. Speakers were brought in which were usually informative but there was minimal discussion between members. Everyone talked in generalities, most likely due to people not wanting to give up their perceived competetive advantage in the market.

I'm hoping to meet casually either early morning or evenings for coffee/drinks or if that's not our style, my office is always available to meet at. Just want to pull us together and network a bit with who's in our area, put faces to names, etc.

I'm free both nights as well. Can we shoot for Wednesday evening in the interest of time and to allow more people to see this post. That being said can we shoot for a different location? Just in case some people are uncomfortable meeting in a bar/cigar lounge. I realize it's an odd request but I wouldn't want smoke/alcohol to detour anyone from participating, at least until we have a better feel of the group?
My office boardroom is always available to meet in near cliff/41st.

lol Wednesday works, but I'm only open after 8:00pm. Is your office open at that time? I really don't care where we meet just trying to get the ball rolling

Thanks to those who attended tonight! Great discussion. We were thinking of meeting the first Wednesday of the month making our next meeting Oct. 7th at 8:00pm. Was going to try and shoot for the same time so people could get supper beforehand. I'm happy to meet with anyone before that as well!
