Hey, hows it going everyone? my names Jonathan and I live in New Jersey. I have no experience in real estate as of right now. I've been reading books, watching podcasts/videos online. Doing as much research as I can to understand and move forward. I'm currently working at a Nissan dealership as a Technician. I've recently decided that I wanted to take control of my life and stop working for money, instead have money work for me. I know that real estate is not a "get rich quick" solution, but something that will take a lot of time, passions, blood, sweat and tears. I'm willing to give it my all and hustle for what I want. I joined BiggerPockets so I can get more knowledge and understanding of real estate and some guidance and advice. So hopefully you guys can help me and maybe eventually I can help you.

Hey @Jonathan Castro congrats on trying to take control of your future! I'm a big Nissan fan lol. About 16 years ago I imported a gti-r front clip of a car and swapped out that engine into my 200sx se-r. I was one of only a handful in America to ever do it at the time. Google it pretty bad *** engine way before its time.

Anyway good luck and don't give up its a marathon not a sprint!

@Nathan Paisley Thanks! love Nissan as well. Goal is to import a R34 GTR to the states eventually, but first I've got to set my future up for success!

The best income is one that doesn't require you to be present. Bigger pockets is a wonderful aide to add to your toolbox. I'd advise you to find local investors and begin establishing relationships with them.     Coworkers, Friends and Family may not offer the initial support needed as you begin your new obsession. Avoid discouragement and know the outcome is what you want

    Best of luck my friend
