My wife and I have recently moved to Florida and are entering the world of real estate investing.  We wish we would have done it sooner, but it's better late then never. 

We are very interested in a hybrid strategy of flipping homes combined with buy/hold of select properties.  We are confident in our abilities to be successful at this business.  We actually built our last home doing everything other than drywall, roofing and HVAC.  I'm started my career as an engineer, moved to marketing and now manage B2B sales organization with coverage in all 50 States.  My wife besides being able to swing a hammer, lay tile and work a Sawzall is a director/whiz of market research and Excel guru.

We look forward to meeting other like minded people here on BiggerPockets and hope to make friends with many of you.  We are very interested to meet people in the Tampa/Sarasota area with whom we can exchange experiences, ideas and good times.
