Have lived in a small farm town of Reedley, California for most of my life. I am part of the Fresno and Tulare MLS. There are still some great deals out there and the central valley is an affordable place to live in California.
Bought my first home, a 1915 craftsman and have done most of the work myself to bring it back to a jewel. It has a mother-in-law unit in the back which I rent out to pay my mortgage :)
I am more then happy to research property for out of town investors and have the knowledge for looking at property from a business standpoint.
I am going with a small brokerage firm (Brown & Brown Realty) and eventually invest in properties. How can I get you my number so we can connect at some point? I'm really trying to network with other like minded individuals. I'm still figuring Bigger Pockets out so not sure if I can message you somehow...

Jonathan Pantages I'm going through London Properties home study course. What is your plan once you're done? Do you know what broker or brokerage firm you'll hang your license under? My goal in getting my license was not to be a salesperson per se', but just to gain real estate knowledge and to access to the MLS and to view potential investment properties. So once I pass my test in not sure exactly where I'm going to hang my license. London said they'd only take me if I want to be a full time agent. I know an independent broker I may hang my license with instead, but then again, I won't have the resources London can provide. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, exactly.

@Jonathan Pantages I attend the Fresno Deal Seekers Meet Up. You can search for it on Meetup.com. @Jay Orlauski runs the meetings. It's been a great resource for networking with other investors and professionals in the area. You should check it out if you haven't already!

Hello Jonathan - Welcome to BP - we would love to see you join us for the meetups - we meet once a week here in Fresno. We get together and discuss local happenings in the market - network with others and talk about a new deal that's currently on the market as well as give other an opportunity to discuss their own deals that may be available. It's a great opportunity to connect with other like-minded people. I've met more investors there in the last six months than I have in over 15 years of investing and Iv'e got to say - its very inspiring to listening to other people in the area talk about their business and what they are doing to grow their business.
