Hello everyone..it is me....i was away for a few..Ok..here is my latest down on tax deed.  i Saw a vacant lot in Miami (tax deed auction) with an opening bid of 8500USD and ASSESSED valued of 73!! (it sounded too odd) through a contact found out that this vacant lot CAN NOT BE SOLD because is is restricted as a ommom area to be developed as a park by the county(an not be touched not sold).  ufff thought i save my self big trouble (and i am a newbie) but people bid for it anyway!! it ended up at 16500 use final close bid price....How can this be??..any thoughts??

@Fanny- Sorry Fanny I missed this earlier post.  Have you had success yet with finding the property addresses?  It's pretty easy to do with the property appraiser in Florida.  If you don't get the situs address of property location it just may not have one.   There will always be a physical location posted on the property appraiser site.  Make sure you are not looking at the mailing address unless it's the same as the physical or situs address.  If you see something such as NE SHIMMER AVE, etc. then it is vacant property.  If you look at the property appraiser GIS it will take you to an updated ariel map where you can see the location at least.  This will give you an idea as to whether or not you have a good investment in the property at hand.

Basically need to find everything thats owed on the property, pay it off and sell it at a price that nets you some profit or fix it upto the point you can rent it or sell it at a profit.
