New to real estate, new to Oregon

Hi there,

My name is Skyler, I'm a young future investor and here to learn all I can about real estate and investing my money to work for me. I came upon this site after doing some investing research through books, YouTube videos, blogs, you name it. I just finished reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki, which really peaked my interest in Real Estate. So that being said, I'm ready to learn more and earn more.

@Skyler Boyd welcome to BP! Like you, RDPD peaked my interest in real estate as well. Best/first thing to do is get educated. Read read read! Read books on investing in real estate, listen to the podcasts, attend webinars and stay active on the forums while connecting with other investors in your area and pick a niche. Best of luck.

@Ayodeji Kuponiyi Thanks so much! I just started the course thats here on BP and downloaded the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Real Estate. I'll be attending the next webinar, I have it marked on my Calendar! I'm already loving this site as a great learning resource. I appreciate the starter tips, thanks again.

@Skyler Boyd its a once a month meet up... I think its just www.rarebird.com or something like that.
they do a very nice job... IMHO...
