Hey everyone! I'm Karim (Pronounced like the famous basketball player) and moved to Mesa from San Diego almost two years ago for work. At this point I'm interested in becoming a local wholesaler and eventually building a real estate business that my wife and I can partner in. I look forward to getting more involved in the community and if any local wholesalers are open to partnering with a rookie let me know.
Great to have you on BP! Nice to have another wholesaler on here. Wholesaling has been my main strategy for the past 10 years. Finding consistent deals takes some work, but it you're up to the task it's can be a good gig. Work on building trust with buyers so that in the long run you have ones who can work with you regularly. A big buyers list is nice, but I'd rather have a handful with whom you have a mutual trust. Just some thoughts. All the best as you move forward.
You just missed a great class on wholesaling at AZREIA last night, but it's a frequent topic at the Beginning Investors subgroup so I wouldn't sweat it too much. You should definately check it out, though (azreia.org). The Phoenix Real Estate Club is a subset of the organization, and shares many of its members. The next meeting is on 6/28, $20 at the door or free if you join AZREIA and PREC at the same time ($200 a year covers both). Always a good time, and a great networking opportunity. If you see me there with my daughter (she's 9, you can't miss us) be sure to say hi!
