Hello BP!
Ben Burket here from the Finger Lakes region in NY. I'm currently trying to accelerate my education and find my first deal here in NY (my wife and I co-own a triplex in PA with my brother). I've really enjoyed BP and the education I have already received from the Podcast, books, and members here.
I found BP through googling RE questions, and the best information was always here! I currently work full-time, but I look forward to being a full-time real estate investor in the future.

FFreia.com is a great resource in Rochester. I've attended their Investor Academy classes as well as some of the Landlord Support and Creative Investing group meetings.

Hey Benjamin Burket hope you take the plunge into the wonderful world of cash flow. I have been investing in Rochester for a decade now and even though it has its ups and downs overall it does provide a decent cap rate compared to other similar or slightly larger markets. Byrd I prefer to work Palmyra, Newark, Lyons, Farmington, Victor, Canandaigua, Manchester-Shortsville. Let me know if you see something you don't want for yourself. What's your target area again?
