I am new to BiggerPockets and slowly trying to learn about investing in rental property in my area. I have read through the forums and excited to learn everyday. I am trying to find some people in the area to get some advice on my first property. Hopefully I can start off with minimal mistakes. I appreciate any advice!

@David Pappas first decide on your criteria of what you're looking for in a rental and stick to it. then try to practice looking at comparable properties in your area that meet that same criteria every day on sites like zillow and redfin ! Good luck in 2017 !!
