Hello everyone!
I want to introduce myself and hopefully find some people to connect with in my area. I don't personally know any other real estate investors, so I imagine it would be really nice to grab coffee or lunch with someone and have this awesome thing in common. I am in my late 20s and only recently got into real estate, with my first home purchase in December of 2015. I'm renting that property out and living in a second property that I purchased recently. I also have 50% equity in a third property that I have no idea what to do with. Outside of real estate investing I love the outdoors, travel, and art. That's a bit of my story :) I live in Olympia, Washington and can meet up within a 30 mile radius.

I would like to invite you to attend the Olympia REI Group on the 26th of January at Dirty Dave's Pizza at 3939 Martin Way E Olympia, WA. 98506, at 6:30 PM. Since BP does not have the button set up so you can confirm you are attending a meeting most everyone goes to Meetups.com and signs in there. It will be under Olympia REI Group.
This is a group of investors at various stages of their investing from seasoned to newbe's so bring your wants and needs, hopes and dreams and join us. Food is available. No cost to attend the meeting.
That sounds like fun. I believe I'm already a part of the group on Meetup, so I'll go ahead and RSVP through that site. It will be nice to meet other people in my area. :)

Hi Sierra, I saw your post about getting started in real estate investing in Olympia and wanting to connect with other local investors, and I wanted to reach out. I work with clients on the Property Management side of things and am always looking to grow my network. Since you mentioned having 50% equity in a third property and not being sure what to do with it, are you leaning more toward holding and renting it out, or exploring other investment strategies?

Hey Sierra! Welcome to BiggerPockets — love your energy and how you’re already juggling multiple properties. It’s awesome that you’re looking to connect locally; sometimes the best lessons come just from chatting with other investors over coffee.
Olympia has a growing investor community, so meeting up with someone nearby could be a great way to swap stories and get ideas for your third property.
Curious — are you thinking about turning that third property into a rental, or exploring another strategy?
