Newbie from NYC .... willing to travel

Hey everyone, My name is Phil and I'm looking to get into real estate investing. I'm from NYC but was thinking about trying the eastern pa area or nj. I extremely new to this and I wanted to start out by buying in auctions and flip it houses. Just looking for some good solid advice in the right direction
