Newbie in Austin, TX, TON of design & construction experience

Hello BP,

Darius, a newbie from Austin, Texas by way of Houston looking to get into SFR REI; specifically fix and flips in both the Austin and Houston markets. I have an extensive background (10+ years) in both Architectural Design (masters degree in Architecture) and Construction; both general construction project management as well as hands on experience performing a plethora of construction trades (framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, doors/windows & hardware, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, etc.) on new construction, rehabs, remodels and additions.

So far, I have successfully completed one deal that consisted of new construction of a 2,500 SF SFR in the Austin area. I handled everything from the land acquisition (acquired by way of 'for sale by owner') to securing financing for construction, to managing the project budget and overseeing the construction, to self performing roughly 90% of the trades involved.

I am interested in applying my design/construction background combined with the experienced gained from closing my first deal to fix and flips. I have a ton of resources at my disposal in the realm of A/E as well as Construction and am looking to grow my network; specifically RE professionals, HMLs and Private Investors and I think BP is a great platform to which this can be executed on!
