New To Wholesale Real Estate

Member since 2018 · 1 post · 0 votes

Hello everyone,

My name is Brittaney and I am absolutely new to the business of wholesale real estate. My head is swimming with questions and I am completely lost as to what I need to do. Any advice is very much appreciated! I am a stay-at-home mom and I'm ready to work my bottom off to learn!

Welcome @Brittaney Krischke. There are a lot of resources on this site about wholesaling. I would recommend that you read through the guides carefully so you get a good understanding of the process. You should also try to get to a local REIA meeting so you can meet some other investors.

Welcome, @Brittaney Krischke! So glad you've rediscovered Bigger Pockets early in your real estate investing journey...your willingness to dive in and learn will really pay off in the long run.
If you haven't already, be sure to subscribe to the podcast - after three years of investing it's still a huge source of inspiration and education for me.
A few tips that may be helpful to you here on the BP website:
You can set up keyword alerts so anytime someone posts about any of the other markets you're evaluating, you'll be notified. That could be a great way to find and stay engaged with local investors, realtors and opportunities. http://www.biggerpockets.com/alerts
You can also search for other investors or brokers in your market and follow their journey on Bigger Pockets here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/search/users
Best of luck to you and look forward to following your success on BP!

@Brittaney Krischke - Go through all this and you'll be an expert wholesaler at the end (in theory; the practice is a whole different story):
