Hi all!
I just started listening to BP podcasts and I'm hooked already and ready to start my investing journey! I'm incredibly interested in flipping, in fact I've already found a property that would be a great flip but I'm not ready to pull the trigger just quite yet. I've read that going to REIA meetings can be very beneficial, especially to newcomers like myself but I'm not sure how to find when/where they meet. Can anyone in the Kansas City MO/KS area help me out?

MAREI is a REIA group - that is a trade association for real estate investors
BREIM - Bridge Real Estate Investor Meetup is a Meetup.
There are multiple other events in Kansas City as well, so you are sure to find one that fits your needs. I would check out the calendar of events here in BP and also search for real estate groups on Meetup dot com.

Welcome @Samantha See. REI meetings are a great way to learn and to meet people. There are typically lots of different vendors at these meetings you can network with and add to your team. Each of these different groups typically has one major monthly meeting along with a handful of other opportunities to learn various parts of investing with sub meetings they hold. @Samantha See- There are definitely lots of options. We do have a great Meetup... non-traditional, bringing in some of the biggest (and national) names in just our first few meetings. Our community is made up of the biggest investors and many first time investors in the city... and shoot, we had well over 200 at the last event. Grown to the largest meetup in KC in just 4 months. Love to connect with you there!
