Hello!
I moved to West Des Moines, IA almost one year ago.
I came across BP when I started looking into investing. I first wanted to dive into the stock market at first, but then I read the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" which completely changed my outlook on investments (surprise right?) and lead me to wanting to learn about passive income, and acquiring financial freedom. I started listening to podcasts about investments and came across BP podcast and I've been hooked on wanting to learn more about rental property investing.
I am still very very green with the real estate lingo and all, but I am taking action and learning every day so when I do buy my first property (I'm thinking of doing house hacking at first) I am prepared.
I will be active, and can't wait to learn so much more down the road!
This is a great place to learn and network. A lot of forum members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields related to real estate investing, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, rentals, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.
