New to BP! Love the community so far (wish i'd have joined sooner) high quality real estate investing content for FREE plus an awesome community of highly helpful people. Long story short I just got laid off from my comfy Corporate Salaried job in IT/IS sales due to COVID-19. Now time to reinvent myself. Working on going all in and building a wholesaling empire. Hoping to connect with like minded investors, wholesalers, entrepreneurs, fix and flippers, landlords etc. I have a wide variety of interests, financial freedom and exotic cars being a few towards the top of this list. I want to connect with you network and learn together. If you are in Madison, Wisconsin or any other neighboring city in Dane County, Rock County, Fox Valley Area, Milwaukee or just would like to talk please feel free to reach out!
Welcome @Blyce Clake. I and other fox valley investors would be interested in anything you can put together in the fox valley. Appleton, Neenah, Kimberly and South Green Bay are where I am looking.
I wish you luck but I would consider looking for at least a part time W2 job to subsidize wholesaling until you can prove it out or get some traction.

Hello @Blyce Clake, Welcome to BP...I love Madison and was there visiting family this summer. Great market for fix and flips and you can get creative with college rentals as well. Higher price point makes regular rentals a challenge. I do work with a lot of turn key rentals in Milwaukee.
Network like crazy and don't be afraid to dive in. Best of Success!

Hi Andrea, Thank you for the note! Awesome to hear you like Madison, have family here and work relatively close. Milwaukee, Madison and a lot of Wisconsin seem like real fertile grounds for opportunity! High price point certainly is a factor here. Feels like we are becoming the new Denver. However, there's always opportunity. Retail buyers were clawing for houses when I brought last year (bidding wars) that has since come to a screeching halt. However, I think now is the time when the large players (cash investors) come in a get some bargains. So should be good for investors, wholesalers and flippers! @Blyce Clake I would have one suggestion for you man......Work on your funnell. Find the deals, learn how to keep them coming and so many doors will open for you. Learn the art of finding cheap/free leads, then the art of skip tracing/cold calling/rvm, using an organization tool to keep track of leads, get a contractor on your team and you will be fine. You will need a title company to work with on your deals as well. But before that get the basics down. All the best, Persist and you will WIN!!!!
