Investing in Jacksonville, FL (Arlington/Ft. Caroline)

Good Morning BP! I'm a new investor and looking for some advice. For all the Jacksonville, FL peeps...What are your thoughts on investing in the Arlington / Ft. Caroline areas? I've seen some properties that look like they could be great flips and potentially some buy and holds as well. Just wanted to see if anyone has had any success in these areas.

@Jason Williams I’m not familiar with that area. However, if the numbers makes sense then I would do it.

I love those areas. You'll find better cash flow in the Oakwood Villas part of Arlington as values in Ft. Caroline have gone up and it's tough to make the numbers work. We've built and renovated probably 300+ homes in those neighborhoods over the years and they continue to be a bright spot for us and our clients. We're building another 50+ in Oakwood Villas as we speak. If you've got a deal where the numbers work there, go for it!

Agree with Gregg, those are good areas to invest in. We do a lot of rehabs and flips for clients in those areas.
