How is everyone feeling about the future right now?

As a web developer who is seeing my career drastically changing in real time, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how fast things are moving, especially with all the AI updates coming out almost daily and everything else going on in the world.

It feels like the landscape is shifting pretty quickly, so I was curious where everyone's head is at. Are you guys feeling optimistic or pessimistic about where things are heading over the next few years? Is any of this changing how you're looking at real estate, or are you just sticking to your normal strategy and tuning out the noiseHow is everyone feeling about the future right now?

I have a previous software background and now I do full time real estate, so I feel I am uniquely qualified to answer your question. Things do look bleak in the software world - eventually in the few years, you might not need software engineers and product people can simply describe their requirements and get everything done from the bots.

The good thing about real estate - especially single family or multifamily is that in spite of all of that, everyone is going to need a place to live. That means real estate will keep doing what it's doing. The challenges or wars and higher interest rates will remain, but they are temporary in nature in my opinion. The operations part of real estate will become much more efficient and you will be able to analyze properties much more quickly (we are already doing that). But having hard assets (like real estate) that are required no matter what for the society can ultimately save us. So in short, I will make necessary changes, but keep acquiring real estate.
