Congratualtions to soon to be dad, J Scott

I was ready an earlier thread and realized that J Scott is soon to be a dad. I want to say CONGRATULATIONS.

My children are grown and have their own children, but I still remember being a dad.

I think most anyone visiting or taking part in BP knows Jason. He always has some great advice and now will have some advice on being a father.

Thanks Charles! My wife is on bed-rest the last several weeks of her pregnancy, so I'm doing double duty taking care of our 1-year old. I have a new found respect for all those single parents out there!

Luckily, he likes to sleep in the car, so I get to sit out here in the driveway on my iPad reading BP... :)

Thanks again...and when I disappear for a while come the new year, you'll know why... (Tim and Tom can throw a little party in the Politics forum to celebrate my being gone for a little while ;)...

    I'm sure both Tim & Tom will miss your jabs as well. I wouldn't be surprised if you sneak a visit from time to time to keep the boys on their toes.

    The one year old is probably young enough that he might quickly forget that the new person wasn't always there.

    Life will be exciting for awhile as the new norm settles in.

    i can yell you having 2 toddler boys is a challenge, but i wouldn't trade it for anything.

    Hang in there, J! I've ridden 100 mile "Centuries" on my bike in the past, but I don't remember being as exhausted then as I do today chasing our 3 year-old around. It's truly a labor of love.

    And remember, the days are long, but the years are short. I'm certain Charles and some others can attest to that.

    Best of luck on the final stretch of the gestation race and please let your BP family here know when the little blessing arrives. :D

    One of the largest motivators to be successful is our children and Jason just got more motivated! Congrats on your upcoming arrival. I have 3 which is why I am tripple motivated, college educations aren't cheap these days! :)
